Our Staff

Brad Baxter
Pastor
Brad began serving as pastor of FBC Loxley in January of 2022. He is originally from Clinton, Mississippi. Brad earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 2015, a Master of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in 2018, and a Master of Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in biblical exposition at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to FBC Loxley, Brad served as Minister of Community Outreach and Education at Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, Mississippi.
Brad is married to Krista, who works as a nurse in Mobile. In their free time, Brad and Krista enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. Brad's hobbies include hunting, watching baseball, reading, and running.

Ashton Mathis
Associate Pastor of Worship
Ashton began serving as our associate pastor of worship in March of 2025. Originally from Crockett, Texas, Ashton is currently a student at Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to FBC Loxley, he served as worship leader at Christ Baptist Church in Harvey, Louisiana.
Ashton is married to Cassie, and together they have a son, Micah. In his free time, Ashton enjoys sporting events, reading comics, and listening to all different genres of music. He also has the misfortune of cheering for all professional sports teams who call Atlanta home.

Monica Williamson
Preschool & Children's Ministry Director
Monica began serving as the preschool & children's ministry director at FBC Loxley in September of 2022. She has been a member of FBC Loxley since 2002. Through the years, she has served in various ministries of the church, including teaching Sunday School, directing Vacation Bible School, and assisting in other ministries such as G.L.O.W. Fest, Operation Christmas Child, and Wednesday evening children and youth programs. Previously, Monica served as the youth director at Durant Chapel Baptist Church in Bay Minette, Alabama, from 1993 to 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Samford University in 1993 and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of South Alabama in 1998. In her free time, Monica enjoys walking, exploring historical areas, and spending time with friends and family.

Braden Bodine
Minister to Sudents
Braden began serving as our minister to students in August of 2024. He is originally from Leesville, Louisiana, and he is currently a student at the University of Mobile, studying Christian Ministries with a minor in History. Braden is married to Hannah (also a student at the University of Mobile). Prior to coming to our church, Braden served students as a ministry track leader for FUGE Camps, working the previous three summers. In his free time, he enjoys participating in outdoor activities and cheering on Texas sports teams.

Terri Williamson
Financial Assistant
Terri joined our staff as financial assistant in February of 2022 after serving for over thirty years in various aspects of the medical field. Terri, her husband, Jimmy, and their four daughters united with our church in 1999. She has served in various member leadership roles over the years, and currently, she teaches an adult ladies Sunday School class. In addition, she also serves as the project leader for our year-round Operation Christmas Child Shoebox ministry. Terri has a heart for missions and has participated in church mission trips to Guatemala, Haiti, and Honduras. In her spare time, Terri enjoys family time, reading, sports, and pretending to be a gardener!

Natalie Gordon
Ministerial Assistant
Natalie joined our staff as ministerial assistant in February of 2025. She also has served as Stapleton Baptist Church's administrative assistant since August of 2019. Natalie, her husband, Daniel, and their three sons became members of Stapleton Baptist Church in 2019, where she and her family have served in many different areas of ministry. Currently, Natalie serves on the praise and worship team and also as a leader in SBC's student ministry. She considers it a privilege to get to serve the Lord and his people through her work at SBC and FBC Loxley. In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending any chance she can get with her family and friends.

Missy Pollard
Childcare Center Director
Missy began serving as director of our church's weekday childcare center in January of 2022. Prior to becoming the director, Missy served as assistant director from 2001 until 2022. During this time, she has been able to minister to hundreds of families across our local community. She credits God and her devoted staff for the years of such successful ministry. Missy is married to Troy, and they have two sons, one daughter, and four grandchildren. In her spare time, Missy enjoys hanging out with her grandchildren, going to the beach, and kayaking down the Styx River.
